A Day in the Life

As a MAX Group Fitness Instructor, you will:
  • Lead and motivate members through high-energy, 45-minute cardio, strength training, and kickboxing-based workouts utilizing THE MAX Challenge methodology.
  • Create a safe, fun, and results-driven workout environment.
  • Provide exercise modifications and progressions for all fitness levels, ages, and physical limitations.
  • Coach members toward achieving their personal health and fitness goals.
  • Provide nutrition coaching and support in alignment with THE MAX Challenge program.
  • Build strong relationships with members through personal interaction, encouragement, and accountability.
  • Engage with every member by name and make personal connections during each class, whether participating in person or virtually.
  • Celebrate member milestones, victories, and transformations.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive culture that reflects THE MAX Challenge values.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, preparedness, reliability, and leadership at all times.
  • Serve as an ambassador for THE MAX Challenge mission through passion, positivity, and a genuine desire to change lives.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Current CPR/AED Certification.
  • 1+ years of group fitness instruction experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational coaching skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with members.
  • Passion for helping others improve their health and quality of life.
Preferred:
  • Personal or Group Training Certification.
  • Health Coaching or Nutrition Experience.
  • Experience coaching functional fitness, HIIT, strength training, or kickboxing-style classes.

Schedule
  • Part-Time, Flexible Schedule
  • Early morning and/or late afternoon availability preferred
  • Monday through Friday classes
  • Occasional weekend events or classes may be available if desired

Compensation & Benefits
  • $25–$40 per class
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities tied to member retention and class growth
