Conversion Auditor (3-Week Project – Boutique Fitness)
Job Summary
We are a boutique fitness franchise organization seeking a Conversion Auditor for a short-term project.
The focus of this role is to evaluate how prospective members move from initial inquiry through enrollment across multiple locations, and identify opportunities to improve performance and consistency.
We are looking for someone with direct experience in boutique fitness, wellness, or a similar service-based business who understands both the sales process and the in-person member experience.
This is a 3-week engagement with a defined scope and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Mystery shop multiple locations throughout the NJ market (online, phone, and in-person)
- Evaluate the full prospect-to-member journey:
- Initial inquiry
- Booking process
- In-person experience
- Enrollment conversations
- Review customer interactions, including calls, texts, and follow-up
- Identify inconsistencies across locations and team members
- Compare high-performing and underperforming locations
- Deliver a structured report with:
- Key findings
- Root causes
- Specific, actionable recommendations
Project Timeline
- Week 1: Mystery shopping and initial evaluation
- Week 2: Deeper analysis of interactions and execution
- Week 3: Final report and recommendations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in boutique fitness, wellness, or a similar service-based business
- Background in membership sales, studio management, or sales operations
- Strong understanding of appointment-based sales and in-person conversion
- Experience reviewing and improving sales performance
- Able to identify issues quickly and recommend practical solutions
Compensation
Project-based: $7,000 – $12,000, depending on experience
Potential for Ongoing Work
There may be an opportunity to extend into a longer-term role based on performance.
